The Barcelona Adventure Company offer cultural

Barcelona's reputation as a world centre for
art, architecture and design is growing yearly,
with a plethora of cultural activities on
offer. In 1999, the entire city was awarded
a Royal Gold Medal for Architecture, from
the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Renowned artists such as Antonio Gaudí, Pablo
Picasso, Joan Miró and Antoni Tŕpies permeate
Barcelona's cultural scene.
Antoni Guadi was not the city's only great
architect, some of the city's other modernist
architects and designers of the period include
Puig i Cadafalch and Domčnech i Muntaner.
Barcelona's other great attractions are far
removed from the unique creations for which
the city is famous for. The Barri Gótic is
full of narrow streets where almost all the
buildings date from the 13th to 16th centuries.
