wine & cooking barcelona

In a brand new activity we combine wine tasting with other a visit to the internationally renowned Boqueria market in Barcelona and cooking.

In the Boqueria market, one most spectacular markets in the world, one can enjoy two fundamental pleasures of the Spanish culture: wine and food

In our kitchen and tasting room participants can take part in one of the most original activities in Barcelona in which we will have fun while we learn. We do stress though that this all takes place in an informal atmosphere and the emphasis is on enjoyment

Firstly, we will embark on a guided tour through the Boqueria tell you more about this famous market. (15min.)

Later we will learn the secrets of the wine tasting thanks to the tips of our sommelier. Participants will taste 5 Spanish wines of famous denominations such as Penedes or Rioja and also also have the opportunity to discover wines from new emerging areas . (45 min)

Finally we return to the kitchen where our chef will guide our guests through easy spanish recipes so that they can elaborate their own dishes like: fideua, paella marinera, escalibada, xato, romesco, spanish omelette, crujiente de mel i mato, crema catalana… Once they finish their cooking they can enjoy their creations in the same kitchen with a glass of cava. (60 min cooking + 30-45 min lunch- dinner).
