Put your gastro skills to the test.
This is an activity designed to test the gastronomic skills and knowledge of the participants.
Each team will have to perform different test in order to score and to develop their sense of smell and taste, and their ability to cook.
The competition will take place in different scenarios in Barcelona. Some of the gourmet shops in the boqueria market, and a restaurant.
The group will be divided in different teams. Each team will have to do several activities and tests, in order to score for the winning place. Each team will be given a name or colour, a book with the instructions, the game rules, maps and the content of the tests.
The activities are:
- Gastronomic treasure hunt in the Boqueria market
The teams will be given 5 tests, which they will do at the same time around the market. Each team will have to manage the distribution of task in order to perform each test with the given timing.- There will a series of questions to be solved, such as finding out the ingredients for a recipe, questions about the history of the Market
- Other test will be based on tasting products of the Market
- Restaurant in the City centre
- Wine tasting
- Blind chocolate tasting
During 90 minutes the participants will learn, taste and take part into work-groups, so that everyone should meet everybody, while enjoying a gourmet experience.
