The Gaudi Building challenge

Build as a team and...

Antoni Gaudí is probably the most famous Catalan architect in history and many of his finest works, built in what is known as the modernist style, can be seen in Barcelona. The aim of this team building project is to construct a model of one of Antoni Gaudi’s most iconic buildings, the as yet unfinished Sagrada Famlia.

In this entertaining event, the participants will become designers, architects and builders for the day as they acquaint themselves with Gaudi’s works, his process and his legacy. Working in a team, defining clear roles and creativity will be fundamental in producing the end product.
Each group will be given the same materials to use, although options will be limited and so the more creative, collaborative and cohesive the groups are, the greater the chance of success.

This workshop can be treated as a competitive event or as something a bit more fun, but either way, the day promises to be a frenzy of cross department communication and crazy construction.

As a conclusion to the event, each team will explain the planning and the idea behind their model and give some feedback on what worked and what didn’t.
This is an activity that can take place in a hotel meeting room, an exterior venue of even inside one of Gaudi’s own creation, which gives this activity an extra special touch

The event was a success and there was positive feedback all around. The team had a wonderful time and really appreciated the attention from the staff.
Many thanks for your help in organization.
