16 food and drink team building activities in Barcelona

Barcelona Adventure (Fiesta Events, S.L.) designs and runs food and drink team building activities in Barcelona, from tapas tours and paella challenges to wine tastings and cooking experiences. Operating since 1999, our bilingual local team plans every detail, and as a licensed DMC we can also arrange the venues, restaurants, transport and accommodation around the activity itself.

Whether you're marking a milestone, welcoming new joiners or building something memorable around a conference or incentive trip, food and drink team building gives a group time to relax together while still working as a team. We've planned these activities for companies including Amazon, HP, Adevinta, Bayer and Pfizer, matching the format to the size and mood of the group.

16 food and drink activities to choose from – which one suits your group?

Some teams want to get hands-on together; others would rather sit back and let a guide walk them through Barcelona's food and wine scene. Here's how the 16 activities on this page break down.

Hands-on cooking and mixing

Tapas, tastings and treasure hunts

Wine, cava and vineyard experiences

Chocolate

Something a little different

Still not sure?

If food and drink isn't quite the fit, we run other types of team building activity in Barcelona too – from our outdoor team building activities and driving and off-road team building, to hands-on team building workshops and the full range on our team building activities page.

Have a read of our guide to team building in Barcelona, or get in touch and tell us about your group – we'll recommend the right fit.

How much do food and drink team building activities in Barcelona cost?

Every food and drink team building activity is quoted per group rather than per person, with most activities starting from around €45 per person as a guide. Groups of 10 or more get a discount of roughly 10%, scaling further with larger numbers, though some activities – such as those using external specialists, hired venues or a private boat charter – carry different or fixed pricing.

Tell us your group size and preferred dates, and we'll put together a proposal with pricing tailored to your event. Get in touch to get started.

What's included in a food and drink team building activity?

As standard, a Barcelona Adventure food and drink activity includes:

  • A bilingual local guide or host, fluent in English and Spanish

  • All food, drink and equipment needed for the activity itself

  • Full planning and coordination in the lead-up to your event

  • A format tailored to your group's size, tastes and objectives

Because we're also a licensed DMC, we can build the rest of the day around the activity too:

  • Venue or private dining space hire

  • Restaurant and catering arrangements

  • Hotel and accommodation bookings

  • Transport and transfers across Barcelona

Whether you need a short conference-break activity, a half-day tasting experience or a full day built around food and drink, we'll shape it to fit your schedule.

Why book with Barcelona Adventure?

Barcelona Adventure has been planning and running team building activities in Barcelona since 1999, and food and drink is one of the things we know best – from tapas tours through the Gothic Quarter to full-day wine and cava experiences in the countryside. We get the details right, so you can focus on your team.

Every proposal is handled personally by David Coote, our Managing Director, or Jeremy Hickey, our General Manager – both work directly with corporate teams to put together a tailored plan, in English or Spanish. Team building for international groups

Barcelona is one of the world's most visited cities, well connected by air to around 190 destinations, and gets roughly 300 days of sunshine a year – all of which makes it an easy sell for teams flying in from abroad. We coordinate the activity itself and, as a DMC, the venues, transport and dining around it, so international groups get a smooth experience from arrival to departure.
